Kensington Midwives would be happy to look after you throughout your pregnancy, birth and postnatally, with your newborn baby. Living in the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, England, Mary-Rose Pignatelli and Annabel Athill are private Midwives and Doulas. They formed Kensington Midwives as a private practice and they also work at St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London. They each have three children.
Kensington Midwives believe that their knowledge and care can give you the confidence necessary for a happy and natural birth, reducing the risk of complications. They are both members of the Royal College of Midwives, the Nursing and Midwifery Council and Doula UK.
Mary-Rose Pignatelli trained as a nurse and became a midwife in 1988. She also completed a Diploma in Occupational Health. She then spent time with her three teenage children before returning to midwifery 8 years ago.
Annabel Athill completed a Midwifery Degree and trained at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital from 2005 to 2008. She is now combining midwifery with her previous career as a Picture Conservator and she is a Fellow of the British Association of Paintings Conservator-Restorers. She has three grown up boys.
